Zuster Zonnebloem is raw, intimate, intense, but above all, genuine. They bring the music and atmosphere of the '70s into the present day. Unmistakable passion and chemistry flow through the music of this psychedelic rock formation, evoking a reborn sense of nostalgia. At one moment, they sound vulnerable and crystal-clear; the next, they’re raw and untamed, with sincerity and authenticity as the unifying thread. OOR Magazine hailed them as torchbearers of psychedelic rock in the Netherlands in a glowing review.
In November 2023, their debut album Show Don’t Tell was released—a record centered on activism and awareness of our impact on the planet and each other. The band delves into themes like freedom, spirituality, and universal consciousness, delivering a direct yet hopeful message. With live performances at Paradiso, Patronaat, Gebr. De Nobel, Melkweg, Oerol, and Werfpop, this five-piece band has firmly established itself as a live powerhouse to be reckoned with.
In June 2024, the band will release Live in ’23, a testament to their refined live performance skills. This EP features four of their best songs, reimagined and recorded live in some of the Netherlands’ finest studios. In the fall of 2024, Zuster Zonnebloem will join the Popronde tour, spreading their message of love, authenticity, and hope across the country.

Convinced simplicity, eerie calm, interrupted by a raging wind. That’s the sound of Seewolf. Their music reflects a passion for minimalism while daring to take the time to tell their story. A few years ago, Seewolf shipped a tape machine all the way from California to the Oude Bildtdijk. In the 1970s, this very machine was used to record music at the legendary Wally Heider Recording Studio in San Francisco. Tracks by icons such as Neil Young, Van Morrison, Tom Waits, and The Grateful Dead ran through its reels, and now, 50 years later, the music of Seewolf follows those same tracks.
The band released their debut EP, ‘Moonwater,’ in 2019, followed by the ‘High Hopes EP’ in December 2022. They are now in the process of recording their first full-length album, eagerly anticipating the moment they can share their new work with the world.
Line-up:

Willem Bijma – guitar, keys
