It’s been seven years since the debut EP Emerge saw the light of day, and now The Apologist returns with its follow-up, Liminality.

In many cultures, the number seven holds a magical or sacred significance, representing completion and the transition to a higher state—themes that resonate deeply in the lyrics and title of this new mini-album. On Liminality, The Apologist exudes confidence, blending a shared love for 90s alternative and modern sludge into their signature catchy rock anthems.

Great music doesn’t have to come from far away. With over a decade of experience and fresh blood behind the drums, the Amersfoort-based rock collective has become a solid, well-oiled machine in 2023.
