Rockford is a 3piece powerhouse blending Alternative, Rock, Grunge and Pop into headbanging and danceable songs. The bandname is derived from the birthplace of singer/guitarist Niels Schmitz in Rockford, Illinois.

They formed in 2018 and signed their first record deal in 2021 with indie label Grunge Pop Records. Their debut album “BROKEN RECORDS” was released on 01-01-2023.

The record was recorded and mixed by Patrick Delabie and the band at his legendary Recording Studio 195 Wernhout, Netherlands.

Multiple single releases reached number 1 status in the Indie Charts on IndieXL and were featured on KINK FM. A few singles were also featured in various Spotify playlists and played on independent radio stations abroad.

The bandmembers were heavily influenced by bands like QOTSA, Radiohead, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Screaming Trees, dEUS, Tool, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilot and the mighty Pantera.

As of 2026 they are in the studio recording their second album.
The release is scheduled for the fall of 2026

This year, we’re once again transforming the Lieve Vrouwekerkhof into the coziest and largest terrace in the Netherlands! Put on your orange outfit and join us at this vibrant square in the heart of Amersfoort.

The center of the square will be filled with long beer tables, so you and your friends can enjoy a wide selection of specialty beers and drinks from our outdoor bar.

From the evening onwards, the musical spectacle kicks off with a lineup of local Amersfoort artists who will take the atmosphere to the next level. From 8:00 PM, DJ O-Niels teams up with saxophonist J-Sax to get the party going. To top it all off, the legendary band Bittersweet will deliver a spectacular finale. Expect a mix of well-known songs and high-energy hits — the perfect way to celebrate King’s Day in style!

Supermoon

Supermoon creates infectious ’70s-inspired funk, drawing influences from bands like Sly and the Family Stone, Funkadelic, and The Meters. The result is an otherworldly blend of deep grooves, powerful harmonies, and a flurry of sharp accents that hit you at high speed.

A spiritual book about eternal life and inner alchemy forms the foundation of the brand-new album by the new spiritual leader Baba Pen from the East, filled with mystical psychedelia and stories of immortality.

When Baba Pen entered the house of the deceased hermit Gerard, he discovered this remarkable book, written by the hermit himself. Finding this relic marked the beginning of his spiritual journey—a journey that ultimately led Baba Pen to form the concept of the BimBam Band and record the self-titled album “Baba Pen & The BimBam Band” with them. The result is an album rich in thematic depth, psychedelia, and alternative pop/rock music.

When the album is released in 2025, Gerard will be immortalized through the music, and in that way, achieve immortality after all.
